Integrative Medicine Library Service

1.  Choices Foundation will develop a reference library dedicated to the acquisition and dispensation of information and knowledge related to the field of integrative medicine and related topics for use by the public and health care professionals. This library is currently located at the World Research Foundation facility in the Village of Oak Creek, Sedona, Arizona.

Research

1.  The purpose of the intended research is to elucidate the usefulness of various approaches to diagnosis and therapy currently used in the integrative medicine field with regard to their impact on the health and well being of the human family.

2.  Integrative medicine research study design analysis and development is the first research project at Choices Foundation. This program will facilitate the advancement of research study design needed to address the special research study needs of other systems of healing whose features are not amenable to conventional study, and the special needs of the integrative approach. It is the intention of Choices Foundation, through its research activities, to foster the development of international standards of integrative medicine research and assist in the development of an international integrative medicine database.

3.  Outcomes, efficacy, safety and cost-effectiveness studies on various modalities used in treatment of patients in outpatient integrative medicine practice will be performed using rigorous scientific standards appropriate to the modality being studied. These programs will be carried out at integrative medicine clinics, including, but not limited to the Choices Integrative Healthcare of Sedona facility. Multi-center studies are planned in conjunction with other similar clinics in the U.S. and internationally. These studies will include evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques used in non-conventional systems of healing (i.e. non-allopathic).
